On the backroads and trails of rural Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, if you come across a man pulled to the side of the road with a camera pointed towards an old barn, a windmill, or even a solo tree in the forest, you may have just spotted fine art landscaper Gary Giddens.
Through all his many decades, Gary has visualized photos in his walks through life. However, it has really only been the past fourteen years that most of those images have actually been created. Starting on his 50th birthday he has been working not only to share his perspectives of the landscapes of his travels but also to learn to be a craftsman. A retired teacher and coach, a husband, father, and grandfather, Gary has had a range of different experiences that color and create story to his art.
